Created in 1927, Soldiers Memorial Field Golf Course is a historic and lovely golf facility, with 18 holes of play featuring bunkered greens and tree-shrouded fairways. Both challenging and scenic, its location by the Zumbro River results in deceptively simple-looking water hazards and though the course has a relatively short length of play, the difficult layout necessitates carefully aimed shots. The course lies in the middle of downtown, in the north part of Soldiers Memorial Field.
